Todd: Thank you for calling ****** ******** this is Todd.

Customer: HIBRAD, this is Edna Liarface.  We just found out about an All Staff Meeting, in our huge multi-national corporation, which is later today in about 8 hours.  We were wondering if you would be able to supply us with some refreshments and snacky-type items.  This is an important meeting that some Really Important people are going to be attending including the boss of all the company.  There are other managers coming in from China and some from, I don't know, some place really far away.

Todd: I think I understand Edna, I believe we can accommodate you, but I do need to check with the locatio...

Customer: DID I MENTION THEY ARE REALLY SUPER IMPORTANT AND THE BOSS.

Todd: Yes, I got that.  I would still need to make sure we have the product on hand to help you in this request.
So, if it would be okay Edna, I need some details to your event.

Customer: Ok.  I am in a rush so can we hurry this along.

Todd:  Absolutely, all I need to do is get some info that I will call the location with to get this ball rolling.  What I need is the time you would like this delivered and where, the head count, what items you would like to see in this order.

Customer: I need some of those little treat things and the bags of salty snacks we got on an order last April.

Todd: Okay, I have that down in my notes and I will look up what we served you.  Was that order under your n...

Customer: Hold please.

Customer: Hi Bryant, are you still there?

Todd:  Yes, I am.

Customer: So, can you do it?

Todd: Uh, I actually need the rest of the information so I can see if we can do it.

Customer: Oh, I thought we would be done by now.

Todd: I will make this as quick as I can.
What is the Building location and room number?

Customer: It will be in the *-*** in room @@#@@.

Todd: Okay, got it.  The items you want?

Customer: Those snacky things.

Todd: I will need to look those up.  If we can I will put those on, but an effort to expedite this order so we can confirm it, do you have a Plan B; some other item you would like in place?  And what kind of drinks? Coffee, tea, soda, bottled water, any combination of those?

Customer:  I don't know what they want, its like, uh- I guess whatever you think they'll like.

Todd: Okay. I will make something up for them.  Can you hold please while I check with the location?

Customer: PLEASE HURRY, THESE ARE REALLY IMPORTANT PEOPLE WHO ARE FLYING IN FROM AROUND THE WORLD SPECIFICALLY FOR THIS MEETING.

Todd: Okay, I understand. Hold please.

 ~2 minutes later~

Todd: Hi Edna, are you still there?

Customer: Yes.

Todd: Great, we can do it but our policy is to add an ASAP charge for any events that are booked within a 24 hours period.  That will need to be added.

Customer:  I am sorry, what are you talking about?

Todd: The All Team Meeting later today.  Did you still want me to place this order?

Customer: Wait, what is the fee for?

Todd: We add a $25 charge to any event booked within 24 hours of the event.

Customer: Oh Brad, if you are going to charge us to do this meeting, I guess I will have to ask our VIP Managers if they still want to place this order with your company.

Todd: I will gladly ask if the General Manager of the Location if we can get away from this charge if you would like me to?

Customer: Hold please.

 ~4 minutes later~

Customer: Hi Hun, are you still there?

Todd: Yes.

Customer: Oh, I thought this was someone else.  Hold please.

~3 minutes later~

Customer:  Hello?

Todd:  Hi I am still here.

Customer: Who is this?

Todd: I was taking an order for the All Team Meeting later today.
I called while I was on hold and checked with the location about removing the fee and they declined.  They said that it is our policy and this situation will not be exempt from it.
Sorry about that, but I did check and we can do the items you wanted from last April.  It took me a while but I found them in some orders you had last week. Pretzels and Chocolate Chip Cookies.
